XL - Excel to AutoCAD v3.1 New!

Send data from Excel into AutoCAD!

For AutoCAD Versions 2000 and higher.

XL - This program allows you to send the information you have saved in Excel to an AutoCAD drawing. You can have the program draw a chart, replace text values, or replace attribute values.

You select the type of application you want:

Select the Excel file:

Then select the Sheet inside the workbook:

XL03.JPG (16818 bytes)

Press the OKAY button and XL will do the work.

Description of a "Replace Text" selection:

This program will replace all text entities inside a drawing with a value that represents a cell in your spread sheet. For example, if you have text in your drawing that has a value of "C4", the program will find that text and replace it with the value of the cell on Column-C Row 4. Every occurence.

Description of a "Replace Attribute" selection:

This program will replace all attribute values inside a drawing with a tag that represents a cell in your spread sheet. For example, if you have an attribute in your drawing that has a tag labeled "C4", the program will find that attribute and replace the value of the attribute with the value of the cell on Column-C Row 4. Every occurence.
